We purpose to grow deeper and wider in Christ Jesus. We believe everyone is on a spiritual journey whether they realize it or not. And just as Jesus came to seek and save the lost, we are devoted to coming alongside anyone from any walk of life who is curious about what it means to trust and follow Christ. We are also committed to challenging Christians to continually become more like Him in character and obedience to His commands.

THE HARVEST MODEL

EQUIPPING GROUNDED BELIEVERS -- LEADERSHIP

Helping Christians to recognize their God-given gifts and strengths, and encouraging them to function in the fullness of how God has already made them to be; sharpening skill sets to more effectively live the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. There are two aspects to this, one is a 6 month Leadership Class that is made available as desire is expressed, and the second piece of this training opportunity meets in a Painted Post home, the 2nd Sunday of each month at 3pm, shares a potluck meal together, and has a strong focus on intimacy with Jesus.

REACHING THE UNDECIDED -- EVANGELISM

This is a strategic approach to reach out to those who are not yet following Christ. We want to ensure that every household has had the opportunity to understand who Christ is in a loving, non-threatening way. With this understanding people are better able to make a personal decision of whether to follow Him or not. Do you have an interest in exploring what it means to adopt a specific geographical area?

TEACHING NEW BELIEVERS -- DISCIPLESHIP

Walking with a person from being newly saved through having a sustainable growing relationship with Christ. There are multiple facets to discipleship that each of us can participate in, for example, one-on-one discipleship where a grounded believer links up with a new believer to help them as they get started. Another example is a small group opportunity called Alpha which teaches the basics of what it means to be a believer and includes connection around a shared meal. Would you be interested in connecting with a mentor, attending Alpha, or perhaps helping to teach someone else what you have learned in your journey?

PRAYER

We have found prayer, simply talking to God, with genuine open hearts, is a key secret in the successful Christian journey. We invite you to come early and pray for the service at 10:45am on Sunday mornings. Please pray with us daily for His will to be accomplished in this valley, and for the obedience of His servants in all things as the Holy Spirit leads! It is our desire to do everything in our power to help the undecided come to the realization of Jesus' great love.
